Talkie Tuesdays: Chinatown (1974)

This movie, set in 1937 Los Angeles, is a neo-noir crime drama. Apparently it has been called one of the greatest movies ever made. I liked that the ending is not fair, because it better reflects life. Bad guys, though we don’t like to admit it, usually win (I’m lookin’ at you, Dharun Ravi). For fashion inspiration, it is pretty “meh” because it mostly revolves around the character played by Jack Nicholson. I’ve never been into the who-done-it type films but I would recommend this to anyone who is actually willing to pay attention to it (its not a good background movie).
